Paonia Camp, May 1-6 2024

Join us in Colorado’s Western Slope for Dances of Universal Peace with Sky, Bernie & Jen!
We all LOVED our first camp at Sage View Ranch last year!  They have fruit trees, shade, beautiful tent camping spots, indoor lodging options, large outdoor kitchen area, and much more! All of the areas are within easy walking distance and have fantastic views.

We will be creating community through song, meditative movement, and the infinite beauty of nature.

Our camp starts on May Day (Wednesday, May 1st) with our opening circle and Dance at 7pm. At the end of the last dance on Sunday night, the circle opens once again, rippling our prayers for peace and feelings of bliss out into the world and our daily lives.

Please plan on arriving no earlier than Wednesday at noon, and leaving by noon on Monday. Our reservations at Sage View do not extend in either direction of those dates.

Each day will offer a new delight:
 * Kirtan * Music Jams * Peace Dances * Deeper Dance morning Conversations  * Yoga? * Meditations? *
* Talking Circles? Karaoke? Hu knows!? * Potlucks (Thursday, Friday, and Sunday) * Clothing Exchange *
* Bazaar * Rumi Café  (Saturday)  * 2 Camp/Community provided dinners (Wed and Sat) *

Camp registration plus onsite lodging: : $275-$325 per person.
• The only lodging left is sharing a bus or a room (also tenting with amazing views, RV’s, and car campers). At this point, this does not include Wednesday’s catered dinner, as the deadline to give our numbers to the caterer has passed.

***** PLEASE REGISTER BEFORE MONDAY APRIL 29th!!! Please. Really. *****

We have made the total cost of  the Retreat with Lodging affordable enough so that it’s still a good deal even if you miss a day or two. And so that we can have as many people as possible stay on site for the full dance camp so that we really have a chance to build more energy for peace as community on this beautiful land.

We’ll have the Dance Tent for Dances and there’s lovely Pavillion near our kitchen for meals and other gatherings (Bring 2 chairs if you can- one for the tent and one for the pavillion!)

For all lodging/camping other than the House: Sageview offers a “Sunroom” with coffee, tea, drinking water, HOT showers by donation, and more!  They have exceptionally nice portapotties and a very cool (or hot) solar powered shower in nature with amazing views!

Our communal outdoor kitchen has all the cooking and cleaning basics. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PLATE and/or BOWL, and a Cooler with ice. To keep your cool, town isn’t far and there’s always someone to make an ice run.
