SanghaFest, June 4-7 2026

TicoTime Resort, along the Animas River south of Durango CO

Sangha is the Sanskrit word for “community” or “bringing together”, which is the mission of Sangha Fest: to come together in joyful celebration, sacred ceremony and nourish our body, mind and spirit: health & wellness, conscious community, and personal development through yoga, breathwork, music, meditation, movement, art, dance, nature, ceremony, and play.

The Dances of Universal Peace are again a main feature of the festival.  We will have our Tent as a Dance space, with shared camping and our kitchen set-up nearby. Mentor leaders Sky Roshay, Shivadam Burke, and Bernie Heideman, joined by Bernie Skydrummer and Hassan Raven Wolf, will focalize the sessions, with support from other leaders and musicians. Wade Hanson is our Tent Boss, Dennis Roshay is our Kitchen manager.

Dance sessions are scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday for 2:30 pm; we will also be doing pop-up sessions during the festival, and are involved in the opening ceremony Thursday afternoon at 4pm. If you are coming, fill out this form in order to get email updates about schedules, pop-up sessions, etc. Link to form.

Come to SanghaFest and be part of the DUP presence! Four day festival tickets can be purchased through the SanghaFest website. Our promo code, for a 5% discount, is DUP (maybe).  You will also be able to attend all the other Festival events: kirtan, ecstatic Dance, sound baths, yoga, etc etc. and can see the line up of presenters on their website.

Support us with a contribution. Your contributions help pay the expenses of the leaders and the support staff and help offset SanghaFest expenses beyond the generous waiving of fees they have offered so far. You can send your contributions as a check to Western Slope Dance Camps, c/o Sherry Yost, 24913 Rd M.3, Cortez CO 81321; please note “SANGHAFEST DANA” on the check.

Tucked along the Animas River, Tico Time River Resort features RV sites, car camping, primitive wooded camping, ponds, beaches, water slides, paddle boards, zip lines, and hiking trails – magical place to share a weekend filled with yoga classes, transformational workshops, kirtan artists, live music, Dances of Universal Peace and Ecstatic Dance. See map for where we will be situated.

Notice the Tent in the center of the photo. We will be camping across the road to the right of the Tent, near RV sites 25 and 26, in the “car camping” area; our kitchen will be set up there too.
