Updates regarding registration, lodging, Covid testing and refunds for the Deepening Retreat (Feb 5-9) have been added below.
These two back-to-back Dance retreats in Troncones MX (near Zihautanejo) allow participants to deepen in their Dance practice, enjoy the small beach town and its variety of restaurants, shops and lodgings, and spend time with a variety of English and Spanish speaking beloveds from all over North and South America (and perhaps beyond!)
The first retreat includes a Dance-leader-training component, with instruction provided in English and in Spanish, led by senior mentor Darvesha MacDonald; and the second is a Deepening retreat, mostly in English, but with translations, facilitated by Sky Roshay, Shivadam Burke and Jen Friedman.
Airfare and accommodations are your responsibility, but we will help as much as we can, including information on restaurants, money exchange and travel, once you are registered.

Make sure your passport is current! Pack warm weather clothes (it can be hot there in the winter.) Join us at the beach! A group of us will probably caravan (by air) from Zihau to Cancun for the Puerto Morelos Camp the following week; ask Wayne (registrar) for details.
RETREAT 1: Todas Mis Relaciones/All My Relations – Bilingual Dance Retreat with Leader Training, Jan 27-Feb 2
Description: The retreat will include a dance leader training component led by Darvesha and other mentors, with instruction being provided in both Spanish and English. Two dance sessions each day leaves time for reflection, dance instruction, playing music and relaxing on the beach.
Lodging and Food: There are lodging options for all budgets within easy walking distance of the retreat site; we can provide some suggestions, more can be found on Airbnb. Two catered meals are included in the retreat, brunch the first morning and a farewell dinner our last evening. There are many restaurants nearby, as well as kitchens at the dance site for those who want to prepare their own meals.
Cost: $175-$250 US Dollars, scholarships available, particularly for Latin American participants.

RETREAT 2: Radiant Transparency: Uniting our Inner and Outer Lives, A Deepening Retreat with Dances and More, February 5-9
Description: This retreat’s spaciousness will offer time to slow down, breathe and deepen into our Selves, our practices and our relationship to the Dances.
Leaders: Sky Roshay, Shivadam Burke and Jen Friedman are accomplished Dance leaders, musicians and mentors with many years of experience in creating sacred space, facilitating retreats and holding a heart space for everyone in the circle.
Cost: $125 to $200, as you can afford. Some scholarships available, especially for Latin American attendees.
Lodging and Food: You are responsible for your own lodging and food, except for two catered meals, dinner the first evening and brunch at the end of the retreat. Some onsite lodging is available, first come with full payment. As with the Bilingual retreat, we can suggest lodging options for all budgets.

Updates as of December 18:
Registration is open, and you may register right up until camp begins on February 5th. Registration Fees can be paid right up until camp using PayPal Friends and Family, Venmo or Wise. If you’re paying by check, please mail checks to Wayne Talmadge, 216 Stevens Ave, Salmon, Idaho 83467 to be received NO LATER than January 28, 2025. If you must, you can pay with a check at the beginning of camp on February 5th. Just find Wayne when you arrive in Troncones.
COVID TESTING: If you’re attending camp, please be aware that Covid is still going around. Pay attention to your interactions for the 10 days prior to arriving at camp and if you’re not feeling well, please take a Covid Test to be sure you’re not carrying it into Camp. If you arrive at camp after traveling and you’re not feeling well, DO NOT JOIN THE CIRCLE. Please take a Covid Test and quarantine yourself until you know you feel 100% well and you’re Covid free. Then you may wear a mask or sit outside the circle and watch if you choose. If you can, please bring extra tests to donate to camp.

REFUNDS: If you choose to cancel, you may up to December 31, 2024 for a full refund. After that date we will return all except $125. Any cancellations after February 1, 2025, will not be refunded (Extenuating circumstances excluded).
