Kootenay Dance Camp is held at Camp Koolaree, on Lake Kootenay near Nelson BC, Canada. What a memorable experience. The Dance camp is on the far shore of a huge lake – no roads just boat access, no electricity, rustic accommodations, delicious food, dedicated musicians and leaders, attentive circles and intent-ful prayers, hugs and laughter and snacks and massages, hugely creative talent show, beautiful views, memorials to Vayu and Shemmaho and so much more. Travel was easy even across borders. For over 33 years the camp has happened every summer, and Sky and Shivadam are so grateful to have been asked back again to lead at the camp.
