The 2025 Catalina Dance retreat was possibly the most powerful and beautiful camp ever. Leaders Sky and Shivadam, with support from Zareen, offered powerful teachings and Dances; the voices were phenomenal; kirtan, qi gong, a star party and birdwatching were also offered; the weather was perfect – and the musicians’ circle (Wayne on bass, Sky or Shivadam on guitar, Anjali on drums, Zareen on flute and clarinet, Joyus on soprano sax, with support from others at times) was amazing, collaboratively graceful, beautiful, inspired, deeply attuned, and here I run out of adjectives… You had to have been there… Thanks to photographers Dennis, Janice, Rick, Sky, Latifa, Kaya, Rahmana Elizabeth and Rick Shems.
